As far as the use of homogenizer is concerned, you will see them in food industry, chemical manufacturing and testing, and pharmaceutical industry. Milk homogenization, especially, is the most important process in food industry, which is carried out with the help of this instrument. The type of homogenizer to be used depends upon the nature of industry and the project’s objectives.

Homogenizers and their parts are usually made up of stainless steel in order to provide extra resistance to corrosion since many substances which are passed through homogenization process are liquid. Nowadays, plastic made homogenizers are also getting popular because of innovation they are embedded with in terms of portability, lightweightedness and shapes. Homogenizers are fitted with different drive motors, having variable control and speed that works without splashing. In addition, you would also see variety in terms of power, maximum speed, weight and size. Along with industrial settings, homogenizers are also used in different scientific laboratories and academic labs for carrying out various experiments with varying levels of pressure. In academic settings, lighter and portable homogenizers are preferred.
