The MD&M West 2016 Expo will return to the Anaheim Convention Center in California on the week of February 9-11, 2016. This expo will feature anything and everything from the medical devices industry, from the latest innovations to daily keynote speakers to industry experts to networking opportunities and hundreds of vendors. Thousands of suppliers will exhibit the latest technologies, including 3D printing, laboratory equipment, new battery tech, cutting-edge material, humane & sustainable gadgets. and more. Attracting thousands of medical companies from around the world, MD&M West represents the best-of-the-best of medical suppliers that everyone in the industry must attend.
Along with the expo portion of MD&M West 2016 comes the conference section. The conference consists of the educational portion, with three days of nonstop presentations on topics such as product development, reimbursement, new industry realities, mobile health, data security, quality assurance, and risk management. The featured speaker, Mark Humayun, MD, PhD of the USC Institute for Biomedical Therapeutics and USC Eye Institute, will speak on Tuesday, February 9 at the panel “”The Doctor Is In” at 3:15pm. Each morning will kick off with a different keynote speaker as well. Creator Dave Zaboski will kick off the conference when he speaks on the morning of Tuesday, February 9. On Wednesday, February 10, influential author, inventor, and futurist Ray Kurzweil will start the morning. Finally, Dominique Courbin, director of production at Limbitless Solutions, will open the final day of the MD&M West 2016 Conference.
Attendees will find MD&M West 2016 as a fun, busy, and educational hub that every engineer associated with design should take the time to experience and network at. The wealth of knowledge gained brings many industry people back every year. The expo runs 10am to 5pm each day, while the conference runs 9am to 4pm each day. Qualified registrants may attend the expo for free, while a $95 admission fee applies to all others. Parking at the convention center’s parking structure costs $15 per vehicle. Complimentary shuttles exist to transport attendees from other locations, such as the Disneyland Resort’s hotels, various hotels along Harbor Blvd, and the Angel Stadium paring lot, which will offer free parking during the week. For safety and security, no one under 18 may attend the expo.
